As with other F1 events, the Portuguese Grand Prix, visitors must abide by the rules set by the organisers. Below you will find a basic overview of them.
Some items are strictly prohibited for safety and organisational reasons:
If you are found with any of these items, they will be confiscated and, in serious cases, you may be refused entry to the circuit.
Visitors may bring only small quantities of food and drinks intended for personal consumption, such as a sandwich, a piece of fruit, or a small bottle of water. Please note that for safety reasons, bottles may be requested without caps at the entrance. Numerous food and drink outlets are available throughout the venue.
Sun umbrellas and camping chairs are permitted in general admission areas only, provided they do not obstruct anyone’s view.
You can take personal photos and videos, but professional equipment such as cameras with lenses longer than 200 mm, tripods, or any devices for professional recording are not allowed.
You may also bring your helmet into the stands; however, there is no official storage area available. The Moto Clube de Portimão offers a helmet storage service near the Circuit Shop, operated independently by them, including its cost and conditions.
*Please note: these regulations apply to the MotoGP race weekend. For Formula 1 events, the rules and restrictions may differ.
