ENTERING THE CIRCUIT

Your race weekend begins the moment you arrive at the Algarve International Circuit – but before you head through the gates, there are a few important things to know to make your entry smooth and stress-free. Expect security checks at the entrance and plan some extra time for luggage inspection. Below you’ll find key details about what you can bring, how to handle your tickets, and where to park.

Security and prohibited items

All bags and belongings are subject to inspection upon entry. To avoid delays, pack light and check the official list of permitted and prohibited items in advance. Typical fan items such as flags, merchandise, and cameras are allowed, but glass containers, large coolers, and alcohol are not. If you are found with a banned item, it will be confiscated and disposed of, and in serious cases, access to the venue may be denied.

Tickets

A valid ticket is required for entry. Tickets can be purchased quickly and securely online, and many categories sell out early, so don’t wait too long.

Options include:

  • Seated tickets – reserved grandstands with numbered seats.
  • General Admission – flexible access to grass viewing areas.

Parking

The Algarve International Circuit provides parking directly adjacent to the venue. However, while parking capacity is usually sufficient, traffic congestion can occur during arrival and departure times. To save time and avoid stress, organisers recommend using public transport or shuttle services whenever possible.
