The Algarve International Circuit, also known as the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, is a modern racing venue situated just outside the coastal city of Portimão in southern Portugal. Opened in 2008, it quickly gained a reputation as one of Europe’s most technically demanding and visually striking circuits.
The 4.653 km track winds through the hilly landscape of the Algarve, combining 16 corners, blind crests, and dramatic elevation changes that give it a true roller-coaster character. It's fast and flowing layout tests both driver skill and car performance, offering a mix of sweeping high-speed bends, heavy braking zones, and limited overtaking opportunities that make for exciting, strategic racing.
